Finally...

Ok, so after much prodding by friends who are internet savvy, I have created this site for our friends and family who are far away to keep up with what's going on in our lives!

So, most of you know that we are in the home stretch for the wedding...9 weeks left to go! And quite frankly, we're ready for it to be here already! After a year's worth of planning, we're getting married in Houston! Most of the planning is done...we're just awaiting the final walk-thru's...have had a few hitches along the way, mostly on my side with friends and family, but for the most part, has worked out.

Geoff has alot of friends and family coming from all over the place...Minnesota, California, Colorado, Illinois...it's so exciting to get to meet all these people whom I've heard so much about, but never had the opportunity to meet until now.

School is going...we've already started to prepare for our boards...yuck! Our school seems a little ridiculous by keeping us in school several weeks longer than most other schools...but, we're preparing the best that we can for now. We're hoping to sign up for the USMLE boards on May 29 and we've managed to already sign up for June 5 for the COMLEX boards...oh yes, we get to take 2...:(! Once those are done, we'll have 2 1/2 weeks for a break/honeymoon!!! HOORAY!

We're thinking about Italy...maybe taking about 9 days to hit a few cities in Italy, tour the countryside and vineyards, see some cool museums and historic places...I'm so excited!

Ok, so that's what's going on with us in a nutshell right now. I'll keep this blogsite updated for all of you to check on...it's a really cool way of keeping track of families, lives, etc.
